Tournament Coverage for the Weekend of April 28th – 29th, 2001

The Bowling Green Tournament this past weekend was won by
Reece’s/Roosters/Easton, a very good AA team, who is coached by Cobbie
Harrison. They were pushed to the ‘if” game by a really good A team,
Mercers/K&G Sports/Bike/Miller Limousine/TPS. Getting the third spot in
this tournament was T-Shirt Express.

The Flag City Shootout A Division Tournament this past weekend was
captured by a really good A team, L&L Painting/TPS. This team maybe too
strong in the A’s, but will get a test at the Twitty, as they move up
into the upper bracket there, we will see in time. Team Mizuno of Ft.
Pierce finished second, and is also a very good A team. Finishing in
third was Bank Oil.

The Fairfax, Virginia Tournament this past weekend was another Class
A event. Smokes/ABS/TPS were the winners, as they rolled to the
Championship. Eagle Group/Buckeye finished second. Third place went to
TNT/Power, and fourth place was taken by TJ Lite.

The NSA Class A Waterloo, Iowa Tournament this past weekend was won
by TIS13/Nike of Omaha, Nebraska. Second place went to Doc’s/Easton of
Minnesota and third place went to Deery Bros./Easton. In fourth place
was Iowa Sports, and fifth place went to Sid Grinker/TPS.

Heartland, Michigan was the site for this NSA Class A Tournament this
past weekend. Metro Glass was the winner, second place was Creative
Stucco/Easton, third place went to LDJ/Varsity/Easton, leaving fourth
spot to Cobras.
