Peach State NIT

C-Town/American Funding/Easton/Elite wins this Georgia USSSA NIT. C-Town is proving to be one of the better A teams in the country. C-Town has beat some pretty good Class A teams so far this season. This bunch can hit it pretty good and plays good defense. I know this for sure this is what the game needs, teams like this who can compete with the better teams. Congratulations on your win and good luck the rest of the way.

Taylor Made/Floyd’s Environmental/Mizuno finished in second place in this one. This is a pretty good team who has played very well for manager Scotty O’Neil this year. Taylor Made is competing very well with some of the better Class A & B teams in the country. Great job guys and good luck down the road.

T&R Stucco finished in third place this weekend, and that’s good for this Florida based B team. Troy Nance has put teams together for a long time, and this might be his best this year. Troy was with Doug Reed when they won a few Class A worlds in the past. Congratulations to T&R Stucco on a good finish and good luck throughout the season.

ABS/Easton finished in fourth place this weekend. This veteran team did not play up to it’s standards this weekend, but surely are a much better team.

The Atlanta NIT was a little short on some of the better teams in the country, but had a few good ones who came to the top at the end. I think this NIT will get much better in a few more years.
